MOTOTRBO Capacity Max which blends innovation with Motorola's extensive real-world experience of trunked radio systems to deliver a scalable communications solution that's perfect for your business. The system supports up to 15 sites with up to 3,000 users per site and up to 100 voice talkpaths. Users can install a new Capacity Max system from scratch, or can easily upgrade from existing Capacity Plus or IP Site Connect systems.

The Capacity Max System Server (CMSS) provides centralised control, and traffic routing is optimised to minimise cost and maximise performance. Capacity Max is fully compliant with the ETSI DMR Tier Ill mode of operation, but also goes beyond the core interoperability of the DMR Standard to bring you enhanced functionality. MOTOTRBO added-value features and applications such as advanced location tracking, remote programming, Digital Emergency and Work Order Ticketing give users the tools they need to make their business successful.

Optional redundant controllers and a second control channel per site can be deployed to ensure the system is available when needed. Capacity Max prevents eaves-dropping and un-authorised access: all radios on the system are securely authenticated and all voice, data, and control traffic within the IP network is encrypted. You can even remotely disable and re-enable a device if it is misplaced or stolen.

Capacity Max has a fast, responsive user experience, with robust performance under load and rapid, smooth roaming across sites. Security is a high priority, with options for authentication, access control and encryption. And to ensure optimum operation, Capacity Max incorporates sophisticated fault management and call monitoring tools.

The system is built around a standardised IP network: there is no requirement for specialised interconnections. Signalling and traffic flow has been optimised to make the most efficient use of network bandwidth. The Capacity Max System Server (CMSS) centralises control and management functions, as well as hosting voice applications gateways.

Capacity Max is scalable to 250 sites, with up to 15 voice and data repeaters and up to 6 additional data-only repeaters per site, giving high-quality connectivity to up to 3,000 users at each location. The system uses standardised infrastructure, so you can migrate to Capacity Max from a MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect, Capacity Plus or Connect Plus system and reuse your earlier investment.
